Artisti come Lizzo, Billie Eilish e Lil Nas X si contendono il maggior numero di candidature, mentre popstar come Beyoncé e Lady Gaga si sfidano nelle colonne sonore
Sono state rivelate in queste ore le nomination per i Grammy Awards 2020, i più prestigiosi premi dell’industria discografica americana. A dominare le candidature di questa 62esima edizione c’è la rapper Lizzo, che potrebbe portarsi a casa otto premi, seguita dalla cantante Billie Eilish e dal rapper Lis Nas X, con sei nomination ciascuno. Fra gli altri a essersi distinti nelle varie categorie troviamo Ariana Grande, H.E.R., Lana Del Rey, Vampire Weekend e Thom Yorke, mentre popstar come Beyoncé e Lady Gaga gareggeranno quest’anno soprattutto per quanto riguarda le colonne sonore dei loro progetti filmici, rispettivamente per Il re leone e Homecoming e per A Star Is Born. Fra le colonne sonore si distinguono anche quelle di Avengers, Toy Story, Chernobyl e l’ultima stagione di Game of Thrones.
I Grammy saranno consegnati il prossimo 26 gennaio allo Staples Center di Los Angeles, in una cerimonia in diretta televisiva che sarà condotta ancora una volta da Alicia Keys, prima artista donna a guidare l’evento per due volte.
