Specifically, it has emerged that the company failed to present annual declarations of income generated in Italy and annual declarations of substitute tax returns, relating to the royalties paid to foreign companies belonging to the same group, with regard to the use and exploitation of all programs, algorithms, brands, and intellectual properties that make up the Google technology.
Through the investigations, the entire economic activity of the company has been reconstructed, with particular reference to the revenue generated through the sale of advertising spaces, resulting in the contestation of the omitted declaration of income derived from such operations.
